Turkish Pizza – Lahmacun

A round-shaped food often wrapped around vegetables, including pickles, tomatoes, peppers, onions, lettuce, parsley, and roasted eggplant.

For the Filling:

In a bowl, mix all the dough ingredient knead until the dough is homogenous. Cover the dough with damp towel and let rise for 10 minutes.

Divide the dough into 12 pieces and roll with your hand and let rise for 10 minutes.

Mix together tomatoe, green pepper, garlic, onion and parsley. Add the minced meat, margarin, paste, salt and pepper into the mixture and pour the water. Then knead the mixture until it is homogenous.

Roll each dough with a press of 0.5 cm.

Spread the meat-filling mixture on each dough and place dough onto the tray.

Bake the dough in a preheated the oven to 250°C and about 6-8 minutes.
